    I'm H. Marsh I have been living and working in Philadelphia for about a decade. I'm currently working as an Architectural Designer for a major engineering firm.

​

    As reflected in my academic work, I believe that contemporary architecture should be rational and efficient. Many of my projects thus far have been rectilinear and straightforward to build. Establishing a logical foundation frees the mind to adjust aesthetics accordingly. When it comes to design, I am particularly interested in treatment of light and shadow, modularity, and carving out small moments of unprogrammed space to take a phone call. I am also passionate about Historic Preservation and understanding the adjacent histories of the projects I am working on.

    In my spare time I enjoy riding my bike, playing music, and spending time with my border collie mix, Squid.
